Date added: 11/07/2011 MSN - ASUS Transformer Prime Quad-Core tablet benchmarked, raises bar for new tablets

In just 4 days, the world will witness the launch of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, the the world's first tablet to feature the next-generation quad-core mobile chip. The faster, stronger, slimmer, and sexier Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime leaps ahead of its Honeycomb sibling Asus Transformer in almost every aspect.

This move has been quite intentional. On the Transformer Prime official page the company states, "we strive to break free from the normal constraints of a device through constant innovation, and the result is the Eee Pad Transformer Prime" and " in fact, we are setting a new industry standard for how fast a tablet should be."

Tech2.in stumbled upon the impressive Transformer Prime benchmarks. According to the site, "compared to the existing tablets and some high-end phones as well, the Transformer Prime has breached the 10000 mark barrier in AnTuTu, which makes it twice as powerful as the existing Transformer."

Having been teased by the Transformer Prime for quite some time now, we all are waiting with bated breathe for the curtains to drop on November 9.

Packing in the powerful Kal-El aka Tegra 3 mobile chip, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime  will lead the race of a new breed of highly powerful devices.
